October 13 at the Crocus City Hall stage will perform the performance "Giselle", accompanied by an orchestra conducted by Yaroslav Tkalenko. The two-act ballet Giselle is a fantastic story created by three librettists - Henri de Saint-Georges, Theophile Gauthier, Jean Coralli and composer Adolphe Adan according to a legend told by Heinrich Heine.
The Russian public first saw the story of tragic love in 1884 at the Mariinsky Theater, later the great Anna Pavlova played the role of Giselle. The ballet Giselle is an old Slavic legend about jeeps - girls who died from unhappy love. The main characters are the peasant Giselle and Count Albert, who love each other.
The art of the La Classique Theater, organized by Elik Melikov in 1990, is well known to ballet lovers around the world. The troupe of the theater often tours, the collective sees its main goal in popularizing Russian classical ballet outside of Russia. A distinctive feature of the La Classique Theater is its unrivaled costumes and scenery. Elik Melikov - a certified artist, one of the first in the country to found a theater workshop, created sets, costumes and shoes for famous theaters.
